Big Brothers Big Sisters Announces Staff Changes

Joelle M. Kanshepolsky, Chestnut Hill, recently joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest as vice president of development. In addition, the agency promoted Melanie L. Perreault, Leicester, to vice president of programs and Erin M. Palank, Boston, to partnership development director.

Kanshepolsky has ten years of experience in nonprofit administration, consulting and philanthropy. Prior to joining BBBS, she was director of development and communications at Greater Worcester Community Foundation.

Kanshepolsky previously was a marketing manager at a parenting organization and assistant director of a human rights organization. In addition, she has consulted with various Massachusetts organizations in the areas of development, communications and strategic planning. She graduated from Tufts University and has a master's degree in management and social policy from the Heller School at Brandeis University.

Perreault is a graduate of Framingham State College. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as a case manager and was promoted to program coordinator and director of program development. In her new position, she is responsible for all aspects of the agency's programs and supervises program staff.

For the past two years Palank was director of fund development. In her new position, she is responsible for identifying and developing corporate, community and institutional partnerships to expand the agency's school based and site based programs. Palank is a graduate of The College of Holy Cross.

By providing and supporting qualified mentors, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest serves more than 650 children in 40 communities from Sturbridge in the west to Natick in the east.
