BBBS honored at Champions reception
BBBS received recognition and a $5,000 contribution for the agency’s mentoring efforts at a reception during the recent NCAA basketball tournament in Worcester.
The Champions Reception, hosted by: Allmerica, Banknorth Massachusetts, Saint-Gobain, The New Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, and UnumProvident, honored the 1947 NCAA and 1954 NIT Holy Cross men’s basketball champions. John Smithhisler, ceo of Saint Vincent Hospital presented the donation to Ben Ticho, BBBS executive director.
